My 20 month son just received this for Christmas and we couldn’t be happier. I read a lot of reviews and looked at a lot of different kitchen sets before deciding on this one. At 20 months, and on the small side, he can still reach everything. I love that it has two sides, his favorite is the outdoor grilling side. I also love that it’s not overdone with sound effects, the stove and grill are the only sound effects. The fact that the magnets actually stick to the refrigerator is just too adorable since my little boy loves playing with the maganets on our fridge. My son also loves the coffee pot (which appears to have coffee and pour) and pours coffee for everyone. He loves taking the flowers and putting them back. The accessories that it comes with are just enough for a younger child….so they’re not all over the house. An older child however would probably want more pots and pans and food to use. The kitchen is very sturdy and I don’t have to worry about my son getting hurt. Even the stool that comes with the picnic area is sturdy (as you add sand to it to make it heavier). Overall this is a great purchase and I would recommend it for a boy or girl.

This, by far, is the best play kitchen ever. It has everything (pretend of course)- a microwave, oven, coffemaker, dishwasher, refrigerator, cupboards, sink, PLUS a grill that really looks like it has flames!!! The setup can get frustrating as it is impossible to “gently tap” (as the directions say) the screws to make holes to screw in the screws!! Use a big nail and hammer to make the holes and a power drill to screw in the screws – which the dirctions say NOT to use, but if you use it carefully, it is fine – or you’ll be a week putting it together and tearing your hair out. My kids LOVE this kitchen and I do too. Best present ever!!!!
